Amortegui Laskiaf is a poet, fiction writer, radio presenter, and saleswoman. Literature, along with her family, is her great passion and the force that drives her to face any challenge.
She is the author of the dramatic novel La Jaula de las mariposas (The Butterfly Cage), which tells the story of several women and their environment. The book has remained at the top of the Amazon.es list in its genre for more than two years, bringing her great satisfaction.
In her writing, Amortegui faces her greatest rival: dyslexia.
However, she believes that if it weren't for this challenge, she wouldn't be the writer she is today. Encouraged by her godfather, she decided to publish her writing, which has brought her international recognition, success and awards in poetry and narrative. She was also awarded the Micrófono de Oro (Golden Microphone) at Musas de Papiro México for her work as a presenter, in recognition of her career and contribution to literature. Most of her compositions have been published and translated into several languages.
